Highland Group Leadership
Scott Crowley Partner
Scott is a savvy executive officer with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He graduated from Aquinas College, earning a dual major in Business and Communications.
Prior to Highland Group, Scott held several executive leadership positions in the software development industry. He specializes in operational management and working with companies to guide them through corporate planning, M&A and all facets of corporate finance. He has worked on software products in all phases of the development life cycle with companies large and small.
His leadership on the purchase and rehabilitation of 645 Cherry won several awards including the AIA Grand Valley Honorable Mention for Historic Preservation: Adaptive Reuse.
He sits on the steering committee of the for the Chamber of Commerce’s CEO Roundtable program and has facilitated his own table for the past three years.
He is a graduate of the first class in the Jandernoa Mentorship program. He regularly supports the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, Acton Institute and Family Business Alliance. Scott has served as a financial literacy teacher, advisor and fundraiser for Baxter Community Center, is a sponsored racquetball player and active leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
Jennifer Crowley Partner
As brand strategist, Jen has helped grow Highland Group into a nationally recognized brand and marketing firm.
Prior to Highland Group, Jen thrived as a corporate marketing executive, specializing in brand building for high-growth companies in the technology sector. While at Compuware she helped grow its global products business from $300 million to $1 billion in six short years. Throughout her career, she has helped launch dozens of companies and products.
Her skills include brand strategy, radical simplification of product positioning and identifying modern approaches to the marketplace. Above all, her experience with digital and emerging technologies is a talented combination of strategy, implementation and technical expertise.
Jen has been recognized as a “40 Under 40” leader by the Grand Rapids Business Journal and an Athena Young Professional Honoree by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce. Jen serves on the boards of Center for Community Leadership and the State Library of Michigan.
Jen has a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
